Nov/15/1999

I received some e-mails from abroad about our laptalk system. Some RC freeks are interested in our system, but my home pages language is only Japanese, and my laptalk software runs on Windows95/J or Windows98/J. So, I re-programmed that. this version is fixed some bugs of Japanese Version Ver.2.1.

Outline

This system is laptime count and laptime call system. This was produced by Tom's Hobby and Izu@to RPC joint project in AORc (Adult Oriented Radio controll car Club). The laptalk system has one PC software and two hardwares.

Hardware
One is Signal Generater, and the one is Signal Receiver. The first one is the IR(Infra-red) LED signal generater.(like a transponder). The signal is generated by PIC(microprosesser) as 38kHz. The IR-LED system is set up on the RC car. And the receiver is IR-Receiver which is set on the course side. that is received the IR-LED emitted signal. The signal enters the PIC controller and the PIC controller connected to the PC Mouse which is interface with PC. The PC is read the signal from the receiver, and read the laptime.
How to make these hardwares is here. This information is only Japanese, sorry.
